This wonderful trail is now celebrating 25 years in 2026! The Chichester Open Studios Art Trail brings together 150 plus artists across 5 days in May. Visitors can explore a diverse range of studios, discover new talent, and experience the vibrant creativity that makes this annual event such a highlight in the cultural calendar.
With a definite emphasis on creating an experience for visitors to learn from and discuss with artists, it aims to go beyond a gallery trail and to open visitors’ eyes to the local creative community.

Established in 2017 and now in a larger location, this fantastic showcase of local artists, crafters and creators is a wonderful place to wander around and find some unique gifts for Christmas. With a wide range of gifts for all ages and budgets, you are sure to check quite a few people off your ‘to buy for’ list.
We will have a stall at the Barn for its first two weeks until 29th November.

There’s a superb mix of unique British handmade treasures alongside a selection of unusual products from around the world. There’s plenty to appeal to everyone and all styles and price-ranges are included, as well as some fantastic speciality food and drink. It’s perfectly timed for Christmas and a great opportunity to buy someone special a fantastic gift for Christmas.
Have a break from shopping for some refreshments or take a “tunnel tour” to see more of the secrets of this fascinating Victorian Fort and its underground tunnels.
Craft Shows at Fort Purbrook are staged inside the building so there’s no need to worry about the weather!

This is the first event of its kind at Sage and Salt so very excited! As makers we have a range of items in the studio but this gives us a chance to display a wider range and some of our more unusual pieces as well.
Alongside myself there will be 5 other artists showcasing their talent:

There will be drinks and nibbles and the chance to have a wander around this truly wonderful studio which has a superb range of gifts and crafts to choose from.

Port Solent’s very own Spring Fayre at Port Solent where there will be Mill Cottage Farm, face painting, market stalls (including us!), games, Punch & Judy, The Creation Station, music sessions plus lots more.
The event is free for all ages with free parking on site.
As it’s a family day, we’ll also be running our ‘Count the Animal’ competition on our stall to win sweeties!
Hayling Island Arts Trail
The Hayling Island Arts Trail showcases painters, potters, photographers, jewellers, textile artists, sculptors, and many more artists in their homes, studios or shared venues across the island.
We will be on the 1st Floor at Hayling Island Community Centre for this popular event, our first time of attending! The centre is located on Station Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire, PO11 0HB.
There is a snack bar on site and parking available (charges may apply however).
